FAQ: Before You Submit (Interest Form Above)
What are the costs associated with your program?
Our airplanes rent for *$230 per hour (oil and fuel included), which means $115 per hour when split. There is a $750.00 registration fee. Additionally, we require that each pilot carry Airplane Renter’s Insurance during their time in our program. Otherwise, all other amenities, including lodgings, are included at no additional cost.
The Registration Fee covers onboarding time and materials, hangar orientation time and materials, your checkout flights, and CFI time for two different airplanes (VL3 and Harmony).
If you weigh over 230 lbs. or prefer to fly solo, we offer the plane to pilots with at least a PPL for the full rate of *$230 per hour (oil and fuel included).
*Note – Rate change coming October 2025. Current rate $230/hr ($115 per seat), changing to $250/hour ($125 per seat)
How does the program work?
Please watch these videos to learn the basics. Feel free to come back after for the specifics and if you still have questions, share them in the Pilot Interest Form or reach out to us in any of the other ways provided on our Contact page.
What are the lodgings like?
Our Pilot Houses are 3-5 bedroom homes, similar to Airbnb-style accommodations; Each lodging is fully furnished, including a complete kitchen, common space living areas, and prepared bedrooms. Standard amenities include Wi-Fi, smart TVs, and filtered water from the refrigerator. Every pilot has a private bedroom with a full-sized bed (bedding and bath towels provided), nightstand, dresser, and a closet with hangers. Each home features a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom; all other bedrooms share one or more bathrooms. Master rooms are assigned based on seniority—when one becomes available, it goes to the longest-tenured pilot in the house.
